Integrated Development and Manufacturing
LumiUp develops and manufactures rechargeable LED lighting in Guangzhou, China, with a dedicated focus on battery-powered uplights and portable stage-lighting systems. Product development and factory production are connected through one continuous process, from the first technical concept to the finished fixture.
The R&D process brings together optical design, LED color systems, driver electronics, battery management, charging, wireless control, thermal performance, mechanical structure, and environmental protection. These elements are developed as one system. Changes in output influence power consumption and heat; battery capacity affects runtime, weight, and charging; enclosure design affects protection, assembly, and maintenance.
After the design is confirmed, prototypes are evaluated and translated into production specifications, component requirements, assembly procedures, functional tests, and inspection standards. This creates a consistent technical reference for each production stage and keeps the finished product aligned with the approved design.
LumiUp also supports OEM and ODM development based on existing product platforms or new technical concepts. The development scope can include optics, LED configuration, electronics, batteries, charging, control functions, housing, finish, branding, packaging, manuals, and related documentation.
